I’m Anna Søder and I welcome you to my site!
The driving motion for me to grab a pen or a brush is the wish to express the inner beauty a person, a shape, a garment or an object radiates.
Having a background in costume design (mainly film, University oft the Arts Berlin, Degree 2014) I 'm trained to look beyond the visual appearance and to find the emotion inside that moves & characterizes a personality.
I love high-quality fabrics. The creation of -made-to measure- clothing fascinates me in all its aspects starting from receiving the idea in form of a sketch and seeing this idea turning into life through the technical process of refined tailoring.
Since 2018 I’m collaborating with fashion brands and magazines besides selling customized illustrations and started to draw at Fashion Fairs like Pitti Uomo Florence and Seek Berlin.
2018 was my first public exhibition at Art Colori in Gütersloh, Germany.
To expand my knowledge & skills I attended a course in digital illustration at Florence Design Institute in June 2018.

I am based in Berlin, Germany & I love to work anywhere.
Travelling and staying abroad has always been an important influence in my life & I am fluent in a few languages (English, French, Spanish & basics in Italian) :
It was back in the nineties when my life as a sketcher started by accident. I was an exchange student sitting in a coffee shop in the hot air of Maracaibo, Venezuela with my friend from Switzerland. She started to draw so I also began to sketch the first thing that came into my mind. My paper transformed into an image that captured and expressed my emotions at that time. I was deeply touched by the potential of a simple pencil, some shades and lines. Since then drawing has been a way to express what I see and feel around & inside me.
My heart beats for extraordinary craftmanship & heritage in fashion & fabrics, great casual clothing, skateboarding & the sea ...
